Shot Bro

Terms of use

Updated 11 October 2026

These terms are between you and Wairua Takarangi (Shot Bro), New South Wales, Australia. By using Shot Bro you agree to them. Contact: [email protected].

The app

Shot Bro is a golf caddie: distances, club suggestions, slopes and the other guides are estimates from maps, heights and your own numbers. Use your own judgement on the course, follow the club's rules and stay aware of other golfers, carts and hazards. Don't use the app while driving a cart.

Your account

Keep your sign-in to yourself. You're responsible for what's posted from your account. You can delete it any time in Settings.

What you post

You keep the rights to your photos and posts, and you let us show them in Shot Bro to the people you share them with. Don't post anything that's illegal, hateful, harassing, sexual, violent or that isn't yours to share, and don't impersonate anyone. You can report posts and block people. We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules, and we act on reports within 24 hours.

Course maps

When you share a course map, you let Shot Bro and its golfers use it, keep it and improve on it, with your name kept on it as its mapper. Only map what you can see on the aerial photos or on the course; don't copy maps from other apps or sources you don't have the right to use.

Pro

Shot Bro Pro is free for everyone for now. If that changes, we'll say so in the app before anything is charged, and paying will always be your choice.

Our responsibility

We work hard to keep Shot Bro accurate and running, but it's provided as it is. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. To the extent the law allows, we aren't liable for indirect losses, or for a shot that didn't go where the app suggested.

Changes

We may update these terms; if a change matters, we'll tell you in the app first. The laws of New South Wales apply.
